WHO WE ARE
We started as a small Bajaj authorised two wheeler service station in West Mambalam, Chennai, in the year 1988. Subsequently, In the year 1997, seeing the growth of Jai Autos sales and excellence in customer service, we were awarded a vehicle dealership in upcoming area Adyar, Chennai.
In a short span of 2 years seeing our growth in sales and service a 2nd vehicle dealership in Chennai was awarded to us in West Mambalam, followed by a 3rd in 2003 in Tambaram, back then, outskirts of Chennai.
Today, JAI AUTOS are the No.1 dealers for Bajaj and KTM in Tamil Nadu having operations in Chennai with 3 Main Bajaj motorcycle dealerships, 5 Bajaj motorcycle branches and 6 KTM dealerships, 2 Chetak Electric dealerships and 1 Triumph motorcycles dealership with the work force of 250+ employees.
We will be ranked within the top 10 dealers all India (among 700+ Bajaj dealers).

A New Milestone (1997)
After nearly a decade of serving as a trusted Service and Spare Parts Dealer for Bajaj Auto Ltd., Jai Autos took a major leap forward in 1997. The Adyar location was identified for the brand’s first full-fledged dealership, marking the beginning of a new chapter one that transformed Jai Autos from a dedicated service partner into a complete automotive destination.
In 1997, as the Adyar showroom prepared for its grand inauguration, the first lot of vehicles rolled in a proud moment for Jai Autos. From the Kawasaki Bajaj KB100 to the iconic Bajaj Chetak, Bajaj Super, Bajaj Classic 150, Bajaj Rave, Bajaj M80, Bajaj Sunny, and Kawasaki Bajaj 4S Champion, each model symbolized the beginning of a journey built on passion, trust, and progress.

Before the Adyar dealership came to life, our West Mambalam showroom showcased the first scooter with an anti-dive front suspension — a proud display of innovation and progress. It marked Jai Autos’ early commitment to embracing new technology and setting the stage for the full-fledged dealership that followed.
A landmark moment in Jai Autos’ journey the launch of the Bajaj Pulsar, unveiled by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, then Joint Managing Director of Bajaj Auto Ltd.. This event marked the beginning of a new era in Indian motorcycling, and Jai Autos was proud to be part of that historic first reveal.

Bajaj Saffire - A New Revolution
The Bajaj Saffire marked a breakthrough in Indian mobility as the first 3-speed automatic scooter in India, blending style, convenience, and innovation a true milestone in the nation’s two-wheeler journey.
On 10th July 2003, Jai Autos proudly opened its third full-fledged dealership in Tambaram. The new showroom marked another step in our growth, bringing trusted Bajaj experiences closer to customers in South Chennai.

Our management
Two enterprising engineers (who were incidentally classmates in engineering) Mr. Jayachandran and Mr. Ranganathan, after completing their academics, joined an automobile firm and a government job respectively.
Foreseeing a boom in the two wheeler market, they started a service dealership for Bajaj Auto Ltd for two wheelers in the year 1988. Thus JAI AUTOS was born.
In the year 2003, Mr Jayachandran’s son, Mr Deepak Chander joined the business and subsequently in 2011, Mr. Rajan ST,
son-in-law of Mr. Ranganathan also joined the business and all four of them are into day to day operations of all the dealerships.
Along with being a service dealer they contributed to sales of Bajaj vehicles to a large extent.
